VIDEO: General Pype Stand Attention
A music video too hot for 2011 is now going
viralfive years later. General Pypes rowdy
video for the song Stand Attention recently
surfaced on the YouTube page of the videos
director, Aaron Ohlmann. The music video is a
surreal blend of Pypes charismatic
performance, edgy street dance and bawdy
animation that was groundbreaking for
Nigerias music scene at the time, but
ultimately its risqu themes caused the video to
be buried until now.
